On July 18th(one week ago today) I participated in Scott Kelby’s World Wide Photo Walk, and went for a stroll up State St. with 50 or so other photographers from the area(at least, I don’t think anyone was from too far out of town).
I was extremely excited to see that there was a walk in Madison this year, as last year when the first walk was held, there was no one available in the area to host it. So when I saw Madison on the website this year I signed up immediately. There’s nothing quite like a group of photo lovers hiking down the street together, I got such a natural high off of being part of a group that’s that excited about focal lengths and aperture.
It’s also been quite a treat too peek at the photos from everyone else that are in the Madison Photo Walk Flickr group, and see the diversity in vision.
Here are some of my favorite shots from the day…
So it’s barely over and I’m already looking forward to next summer’s walk.
